SYSLORE CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN ITS R&D TEAM WITH TOP TALENT 14 June 2010 - Syslore continues to strengthen its R&D team with top-talent:

- Dr. Juha Makkonen was recently invited to join Syslore as a Team Leader. In his role as a Team Leader, Dr. Makkonen is responsible for specific R&D and customer delivery projects. He is an experienced computer scientist specialized in information retrieval and natural language processing. He holds a PhD from the University of Helsinki in Computer Science and is also co-founder of Whitevector, a forerunner in software development for social media measurement and analysis.

- Dr. Jussi Pakkanen has been appointed as the head of OCR research at Syslore. Dr. Pakkanen got his master's degree from the Helsinki University of Technology's Department of Engineering Physics and doctoral degree from the Department of Computer Science. His research goal was efficient handling and content-based retrieval of images. Earlier, Jussi worked as a senior software engineer and project manager at Syslore.
